The Tudors

For your homework this week we would like you to find out about different types of Tudor transport but particularly about Tudor boats. One of the most famous was the ‘Mary Rose’.

Use the KidRex search engine to help you find safe sites. Please ask your teacher if you cannot access this and need any books from the library.

Try to find out what it would be like on a Tudor ship. How many people would there be? What were their jobs? How long did ships travel for? What did the sailors eat?

Crane Park

In preparation for our writing in the next few weeks we would like you to produce a comic strip all about our trip to Crane Park.

This must be ready by 8th May as we will be using it to plan our writing the following week.
Please include all aspects of the trip including the journey there and back, the activities and exciting or interesting events.

Include drawings and pictures to help explain what we did and remember to keep everything in chronological (time) order.

As this is a very visual piece of homework, you will not be able to complete it on our blog. Instead please draw and write on a piece of paper and bring it into school.

I would love to see some comments about the trip on the blog as well!

Remember to 'think, say, write, check' before posting!!
