    Dictionary definition of Viking:

    Vikings, plural
    1. Any of the Scandinavian seafaring pirates and traders who raided and settled in many parts of north western Europe in the 8th–11th centuries

    adjective /ˈvīkiNG/ 
    2. Of or relating to the Vikings or the period in which they lived


    Dictionary definition of Explorer:

    explorers, plural
    1. A person who explores an unfamiliar area; an adventurer
     - a polar explorer

    In your opinion (and thinking about the information), can you be both a Viking and an explorer?
