In ICT, we will be designing our own educational games using a programme called Scratch. This week, we want you to think about any games that you already play; for example, on Mathletics.

My favorite game is called 'Animal Jam' on the NG Kids (National Geographic kids) website. I enjoy playing it because you get to make new friends with other children who also have an account. I also get to have my own den and visit my friend's den whenever I like. I learn about different animal's habitat, what the animal eats and their attitude. I think my game is is going to be similar, but with a different theme.

This game is an app.
I would like to make an educational game witch choose a galaxy to explore by rocket and you will have to pick a light year.
ReplyDeleteFirst you have to pick a one galaxy to explore out of six.
Then you will have to get a rocket one of six is well.
You will also pick a light year to go and it has to be a good guess to get it right.
If you get it wrong the screen would say sorry you will have to try again.

My game is Minecraft.I can build bildings.I learn from it how I can survive.My education game could be about surviving but it looks like it's in reall life and at night theres goiing to be monsters.I need to be really creative.

My video game is a football mental maths and when you score you have to do a addition sum to get the goal. If they score you have to do a subtraction sum and if you get it right there goal does not count. If they foul you you have to do a multiplication question and if you get it right then there player gets a red card. If you foul them you have to do a division question and if you get it wrong or do not do it quick enough then your player gets a red card. You have to do all questions in a time limit.

The name of the game I like to play is Mission 2110 Roboidz Angles.
Why do you enjoy playing the game?
I enjoy playing this game because it is all about these angle questions and you have three lives. There are 4 sets of challenges in the game. So if you get the questions wrong 3 times you will lose. In the first challenge you have to work out how much of a circle is the measurement of an angle you are given. In the middle challenge you will have to say if the angle is acute, right angle , obtuse or reflex. The second middle challenge you have to hit robots and to do that you will have to throw balls at the right angle. Also when I listen to the music in the game it is very dramatic and I really love it. The last challenge is to draw a triangle, the two angles of the triangle is given and you will have to work out te third angle. The sum of all three angles should equal 1800. I always get excited when I start playing the game.
What do you learn from them?
I learnt what different type of angles you can measure. In a triangle the sum of all three angles is always 1800.Also you have to look carefully if you need to know what angle it is.
Do you have any ideas for your own educational games?
I have an idea to have one about using the correct material for your own house and you have to survive the night. And if the night does not work out you change the house by going to a button that says material and change your house. You get food from the material menu also to survive and if you don’t eat it will be game over.

I have a favourite app, it is called Paper Artist. Paper Artist allows you to modify pictures and photos. You can reveal styles like black and white effect,
ReplyDeletedotty,sunny,rainy,and normal.You can also add colours by useing a paint brush.
For my own app though, I will do something totally different. My app will be about chasing and sorting out balls. You will have to collect different sized
balls and solve the maths questions in order to sort the balls from the smallest ball to the biggest. If you cannot answer the maths questions correctly you
cannot sort the balls or move up to the next level.
Moving up a level means the questions get harder and the balls become animals and vehicles and other fun objects, making it more exciting for the player. My
app will be called Smart Kid.

I like jet ski maths.In jetski maths it shows a math question and you have to answer it. Every question you get right the jetski moves forward quicker and if you get lots right quickly you get 1st place. you can also get 2nd and 3rd place. By Omar

ReplyDeleteMy Favorite game is "Fire Boy & Water Girl".
This game is a maze game, where each of players need to run through tunels, jumps over water and fire and collecting diamonds.
Each level is different, from forests to crystal caves.
You use the arrows keys to move fire Boys and the "a", "w" and "d" keys to move Water Girl.
I think that the creators have made the game using computer technology. They use a computer program to create game .

My idea for an Educational Game is a computer version of Deadly Sixty Top Trumps.
ReplyDeleteYou would be displayed on the screen for you to see, but the computers card would only show their backs. So you would pick an animal on its strength.
1.Size 1-10
2.Strength 1-10
3. Poison 1-10
4. Speed 1-10
5. Intelligence
Once you have picked a card on strength it will display on the screen and then the computer compares them by the number and who ever has the highest wins the two cards. The computer then marks out the score and at the end adds them up and display
s on the screen who has won.

what is my game about ?
My game is about maths. In my game you will have 3 choices the three choices are easy, extreme and deadly. Afterwards you have to make an avatar. Then you have 9 worlds in each world there is 32 levels you will also have to unlock worlds. In each level it will get harder and harder. You also get to unlock things with how many points you get. The name of my game is math whizz math kids.
